Default Converted Y5 head to Y8 head

Hey i just got a killer deal on a D16Y8 head, im swapping the D16Y5 head on my HX with the Y8, im pretty sure all the valve clearances are the same, the only difference being the rpm activation of the vtec on the Y8, should i just buy the ECU for the Y8 as well? any info would be great

From what I have been reading, you do need to switch the ecu. The HX ecustarts all 16 valves at 3100 rpms instead of 12 valves. Anyways, I have a HX, I'm probably swapping the whole motor pretty soon.
