Sometime in the summer when most of us can get out of work and are already out of school. Make it far enough in advance so that people can take off work for it. We can try to come up with an agreeable location. I know it would be hard for a national board like this, but it would be cool. I think if we figured things out far enough in advance, we could have a good turnout. Maybe even have it yearly if there's enough interest.

if i may interject quickly gentlemen....and ladies..if there are any...

as some of you may know, i belong to lots of forums..and one of them has about 2100 members...but has been around for about 4 years now...it is a model specific board liek this one, and they had a pretty decent sized national meet in the chicago area...i was unable to make it, but they got about 300 cars...so it was a pretty decent show...someplace like chitown or indy are big enough that everyone can find someplace to stay...you may be able to contact a hotel, and get a group rate on rooms if you get a certain number of agreed rooms sold...ive been apart of these things before..and while i certainly cannot set anything up..if you guys need any advice or whatnot, let me know.

but if you do something on one of the coasts, youre going to excludethe guys from the other side of the coutnry...as where if you do it in the middle of the country, you make just about everyone drive...

it would need to be in the middle of the country to get the most people to attend. either chitown or like dallas or even denver.

I guess we could do that. And maybe once everyone agrees for sure on a place and date, ALL the HCF members could meet up.
For now, we need a west cost capt., east coast capt., and a central capt. Then, we all have our meets and get the same HCF sitckers to put on our civ's!!! YAY!!!! LOTS OF VIDS AND PICS TOO!!!!

i'm just the new guy here, but very interested in all this. i have to agree with civic96rb, makes sense. and why is everyone counting out the south? i admit i heard a couple TX references, but, isnt anyone else representing LA in here? I am 30 min. south of New Orleans and I know that would be a great choice. Everyone should experience Bourbon st. and the Quarter atleast once. Anyway, we have a huge tuner demographic down here.

I'm game for just about anywhere, i could use a good road trip. BTW, would we be allowed to bring others who don't have civic's because i know my club would be pretty pissed if i went and they didnt

sorry guys, but im just getting to the point that im moving up in my company, and i cant take much work off for a couple of years, so for now, theres no way i could go more than about half a days drive away. maybe So-Cal or Reno, but i cant get much time off this summer. Nor cal meet though, im in. there will only be about 6 of us, but i would be there.

maybe we should go with the idea of a meet in like cali, one in nj, and one in chicago.

that's funny, i used to live in wyoming. i would actually drive 120 in the freeway regularly up there, there's like NOONE there.

I would drive to Chi-town if there was a meet going on, for sure! I've been looking for an excuse to go out there and party with a couple of my boys who live there anyway. Oh yeah, and my girlfriend has a rich uncle with a P I M P condo right downtown, as his second home. So i defintiely got a place to stay. Give me a date, and i'll be there!

hey guys how bout bama, or florida, or miss. , or georgia....im down for all those, here in Alabama we got a ****load of country roads and BBQ around every corner.......but not sure bout sleeping arrangments

I think im the only guy on the forum that actually lives in Chicago, and it looks like ive been missing out on this discussion. Obviously, i would be down for anything in Chicago. In the summer time, there are a bunch of forest preserves that are good for BBQs and car show type stuff. I know of a particular forest preserve that has burnout marks everytime i go there. I've also seen a meet of some imports (it was a couple years ago and i think it was all tuners, not that many cars). So i think that if its in chicago, that spot would be pretty good.

Florida would be nice..Daytona, Tampa, St. Pete...All three of those are good for bbq's, meet's, and sleeping arrangments:)
