Yeah I'm new here but I had some installed a couple years ago and my factories sounded better so I got them uninstalled. I got a radio put in instead.
I don't need a sub or anything but something that reproduces highs and lows well and doesn't sound tinny. I can read specs all I want but it would cost too much to keep having them re- and un- installed to see what they sounded like. They sounded good in the store....
I figured here would be the most logical place to ask.

Thanks

i like alpines and infinitys. infinitys have a bit strongertweeter so you will get more highs, and the alpines will putout a little more mid range, but they both put out decent bass. both the infinity reference series and alpine type s series are pretty affordable.

also if you want to save money you could look at the three way pioneers. They put out a good overall sound, but they are not high power speakers and will distort at a lower volumethan the infinity or alpine

go with the apline type-s i got them all around and they sound really good, love them really nice highs and lows. Pretty much what Sigracer said. If you want I can post a video??? but I have a 10inch sub

keep it jdm and see if there are any Gathers available.I have them as standard in my SiR and they sound really well,i listen to drum n bass so good quality is essential in all ranges and the Gathers seem to cope amply well enough and plus they keep it honda.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I'll check them out. I know those are good but at the time I was trying to save money (well, I am now too...).
Also, would it make that much difference if I only had the front ones installed, since I'm (usually) in the front seat? I have a "car" friend that recommended this for money's sake.

Thanks again. Any other opinions are welcome!!

I would recommend Polk audio....i had them in my coupe and they sounded really good....most ppl dont like Polk's stuff..but i love Polk audio....

And about only doing the front...i wouldnt cuz its going to sound soooo much better if you have all 4 speakers in there instead of two.... and if you do only put the front ones in.....Please unplug the rears.......
