ok, A friend of mine has a 95 dx hatch with a d15b8, and he wants to do a mini-me build... I don't know if its worth it... I am in the midst of an H22a swap and it seems less involved then that... I told him if he wants to get just a little more then to just do the full d16z6 swap, it would be easy and you just have to add vtec... Anyone do a mini-me? what are the numbers and how was it to complete? time, cost that kind of thing so far on the H build has been 4 weeks, and just about finished, just need to do wiring, and a few loose ends to be tied.... I know nothing about the mini-me inform me people.

If I was your friend I would just do a full d16y8 or d16z6 swap. With the time and effort, and the cost of a used y8 or z6 engine around $400-$600 if your look'n in the right places, makes more sense. Sometimes you can get the tranny with it for not much more. People are getting rid of these engines all the time for b16's, b18's, h22's...
