How to get rid of the governor!!!
 
I have a 2001 honda civic LX that is govern at 117mph [:@] How do i turn off the governor on the ecu? if there is now way of turning it off what is the best way around it? Please detailed descriptions would be helpful and or photos of how.

ya just shoot yourself in the head now, at least that way you wont be going over 100MPH and slaming into someone else.. killing them as well!



CAN WE GET A DAM STICKY?????? SERIOUSLY... THESE GOVENER ARE VERY FORGIVING FROM FACTORY!!!! 117MPH IS AT LEAST 47MPH FASTER THAN THE HIGHEST 70MPH LIMITS AT LEAST IN MY AREA IN THE USA!

i swear all these posts are just stupid! i bet your driving on stock tires as well..... they are not rated for that speed so they can easily seperate and blow out...

ROFL!!!!! 100 is fast enough for me if I even get that chance to do that in the crowded bay area.

the speed limiter in your car is for your safety and others and its illegal to tamper with those systems so nobody on here is going to tell you how to disable it even if we knew. so /thread
