i have a 92 honda civic dx hatch...i recently did an engine swap (had one done) for a jdm d16a sohc vtec engine...the problem im running into now is i need a new ecu that supports vtec...what type of ecu should i be looking for because i keep seeing p06 p08 p28?
im very confused...

i think p28 would work. I was looking around on another forum and a guy swapped in a d16a along with a p28 ECU, so i'm assuming that would work for oyu as well.

yes a p28 will work fine i used that on my swap

um whats the difference between a p28 and a p06?
theres a guy on ebay who said this would work for my car (p06) and is willing to give me that and a vtec controller for 110 shipped?
is that a good deal?

a p28 is for a vtec motor and p06 is for a non-vtec motor so your gonna want the p28 not the p06
