civic si 07 3rd gear promblem.help out!!

Hello everyone.Need to know if any of you have had any promblem with an 06-07 civic si 3rd gear not angeiging and poping out.and if u had how did the dealer deal with it? Also how was the car after the repair?

My transmission seems to be doing the same thing. I am not sure if there is a recall on it or not. I have not bothered to check. I have heard many other people complaining about this, you are definitely not the first. I just make sure that I push the shifter into the gate completely before I disengage the clutch. It does not happen to me now that I know that 3rd is a little tricky, I do not rag my car out either so I do not think I will ever have problems with it. Knock on wood.

honda has a tsb about the problem the tsb number is Honda TSB 08-020

Transmission Grinds When Shifting Into 3rd Gear, Pops Out of 3rd Gear, or
Is Hard to Shift Into 3rd Gear

SYMPTOM
The 6-speed manual transmission grinds when shifting
into 3rd gear, pops out of 3rd gear, or is hard to shift
into 3rd gear.
NOTE: These symptoms can be intermittent and
sometimes more noticeable in colder climates.

PROBABLE CAUSE
The transmission has a faulty 3rd gear synchronizer or
3-4 shift sleeve.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the 3rd gear set.
