Speaker size for front doors
 

So I have a 2003 4dr sport, and every single fit guide a I read says that the front door speakers are 6.5"s, but then this guy at my local audio shop told me they are actually 5.25"s, so I opened up the doors myself to have a look and they measured closer to 6". can anybody tell me for sure what size I need or any mods I need to do to put in aftermarket speakers?

whatever size they were when you measured them, that's what size they are.

that's strange, i see what you're saying with the mixed fitment guides. i suggest just measuring the speaker itself, and then measure the width and screw hole pattern, if they match up with the ones you're going to buy (while checking the backspacing as well), then that's the one you should go with.
