Hello, is the engine in all the 2008 civic coupes the same?

straight from honda's webpage, if you didn't upgrade, then that's what you have. ""A powerful 140-horsepower, 1.8-liter, 16-Valve, SOHC i-VTEC® engine comes standard on DX, LX and EX models.""

sorry, didn't mean straight from honda, i meant you personally, if you didn't upgrade anything performancewise, then that's what you have, i'm pretty sure all coupe models comes with that drivetrain package.  the only difference in price are accessories, trims, and electronics.

thanks, thats what I thought.  so for value the best buy is the dx since all the engines are the same.  just options that add up.  since i need a reliable gas sipper this would be a good buy I think

i'm not 100% about it, considering i don't know a whole lot about the newer models, but it'll probably be better if you talk to a couple dealerships to get a good idea of you what you need and want.
