Default Help with radio install on '08 Civic DX

I've got an '08 Civic DX that came with no radio. I bought a used '07 radio/CD player for it and when I went to install today, I realized the connector from the car wouldn't fit the slot in back of the '07 radio/CD player. How can I get around this problem? I thought the radios for the 07s and 08s were the same, but, lo and behold they don't seem to be.

I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Just something else to consider:
do you have the security code for that 07 radio?
As for proper connections, head over to the dealership see if they have a solution.
Or cut the plug and get one for an plug for an 07 and just wire that up so it will fit properly in the back of the radio
