ok so i have a 89 civic si that i was building up. but the sub frames are past the point of repair. so my buddy sold me his 95 hatch i believe its a cx, but it needs a motor. so i was planning on just using the A6 outta my 89 but i noticed that the tranny mounts where different i dont no if they mount to the tranny in the same place or if they are completly different i was in a hurry when looking at it this morning before school.so iam guna ask u guys. is a D16A6 a direct bolt in swap to a 95 cx? or will i have to fab up some new mounts? thanks devin

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm guessing the transmission mounts don't line up because the transmission that comes with the a6 is a cable tranny and 5th gen civics all had hydro transmissions.

now that I'm not sure... I kind of think you'd be fine since neither engine is vtec or anything, but I'm not sure.
