Default v tec pressure switch is busted

can somebody tellme the effects a broken v tec pressure switch wil have on my 96 civic ex 5 speed . will my car be going into limp mode ?am i messing up my engine by driving it?it seems to be runniong really hot.

Default RE: v tec pressure switch is busted

if its running hot I wouldn't recommend reving it hard enought to hit vtec. What else is your car doing or not doing?
