Default feul relay location? intermitant feul

Old symptoms; can (used to) hear pump prime when key was turned one click. car would run for 5 to 8 secs then die. Previous to this car ( 91CRX HF) would occasionally have intermittant crap outs like there was an electrical problem.

Now; I don't even get the pump priming sound.

I have had this in the shop and they could not find a problem. I happened to find feul relays on ebay and got to wondering about that diagnosis.

Can any one tell me where the feul relay is located on the car???

QU2. Any idea how many different gas tanks there are available for this car and is this a 12 gal tank? I ask because the tank leaks and I found 12 gal tanks on ebay.

Please Help. Car has been down for over a year.

The pictures should help you locate the main relay on the extreme driver's side below the dash. You may want to test the fuel pump itself as well.

Thank you so much for your help. The car is running and I have put on about 300 mile over the last 3 days. The problem was a loose plug connection at the fuel pump. I found the bad connection some what by accident after I ruled out the the relay.

With the help of this forum I did in a morning what trained professionals couldn't do in a month.

thanks again
