Default Chrome or silver painted?

I want to get 17' for my 08 Civic, stick, 2dr. My car is the Alabaster silver, and wanna get best banng for buck. I heard any rims under 20lbs wouldn't hurt my performance. Also, since my stock tires are 16, wold 17' be alright? Will it rub? Any loss in performance? Just want to spen wisely on my baby[sm=smiley16.gif]

17's would be fine, if I were you I would go 18's on a newer civic since there body is a lot bigger than the older ones. Wheels are really gunna make or break your car for performance so you dont really need to worry about that unless you get some chrome wheels which I highly advise you not to. GL hope this helps

^^ any reason NOT to choose chrome? Living in Buffalo, I'm afraid of Rust... can chrome rust and peel off? Can silver painted do the same?

Chrome is gay. Get silver.

17s will fit, they were optional on your civic.
