Default My new project

I guess i should introduce myself, not new just havent been here in years, anyway, my new project is a 2000 LX that I bought new and have used as a family car for 8 years. I recently sold my 97 EX(commuter) to buy a new SCIONXB(New Family Car),so now is time to start restoring the oldcivic to its better self. Needless to say that my kids and time has taken its toll. Now all i can think of is where to start? Everything is still originalstockeq. engine still runsgreat (of course)but thesuspensionneeds total replacement and brakes need overhauling, interior has been ransacked and ravaged (i hate kids) and needs a little body work <----damn should i just buy another new car? oh well, enough ranting if anybody could let me in on shops in the Whittier, CA let me know.

Default RE: My new project

the lx looks 100 times better than the ex, the body seems fine unless you have rust. just get some new brakes and pads, a tune up for the ignition, and clean out the interior,it doesn't takemuch to fix up an older civic.
