Default Car broken into last night

So when i got up thismorning to go to school i seen my trunk was open but not fully open, and my door was cracked open. Well when i looked inside i seen that somebody got in and stole my Cd player and broke the dash piece that goes arou nd it. I had an MP3 player and a bunch of Craftsman tools in my passenger seat which they for somereason didn't take? Ask me why i don't know but that is really weird. SO does anybody have this dash piece im talking about? I got two pics of it.

anyone that breaks into or steals a car has the right to get shot in the face and die. That is something you just don't do. Sorry to hear that.

How about an alarm before the touchscreen?

I'm guessing the douchebags who ripped the dash apart like that didn't know what tools were, so that's why they didn't take them.

Insurance going to cover it?

I'd go to any local pick-a-part places to find the dash pieces... and probably some pieces to replace the green ones.
