hi guys,i have been doing more and more research on this subject and am becoming quite confused of whether the the lsd is a direct fit or there is more to do in the way of final drive gear.

someone assured me it would fit and i have bought the lsd from japan. its a helical dc2 stock fitment to the type r.
i have the later hydro tranmission in a 99 civic with b16a2, i first hearda issue with fitting them to these boxes but only with cable transmission and i have hydralic, now after buying the lsd have found out the bolt postioning could be different on the final drive is this correct for this car? will i need more parts to make this swap possible?

still trying to figure this problem out, its looks as if i may have to change to a different final drive from the dc2 ek9 or gsr. but can they mate to the pinion already in my box or does this need changing aswell. i have heard from some places you do and other you just need the final gear. the final gear is apparently slighly larger in the b18 or is it just the gsr?
