Well i think i solved my problem the easy way. Im going to go look at a nice clean 2000 civic SIR 5 speed on friday.I think im going to buy it and sell the si auto.

As far as the clutch pedal and master cylinder assy what year civics will work? Also what computer do i have to use to keep all things working right?

I have a 99 civic si canadian model. Its got the d16y8 engine. I want to convert it to 5 speed and i need to know what year and model civics will fit.....tranny, shift linkage , clutch assembly etc....

Not much room between the ac condenser and the manifold now. Id like to leave the car as origional as possible for resale purposes. Not looking for the ultimate performance of the engine either just...

Well since ive joined this forum ive basically been told my rear wing looks stupid....its dumb to turbo an automatic and i shouldnt touch wrenchs anymore. I came here for some help and optimistic...

Ok anyone want to think outside the box ?It would be a much easier installation then under hood. Wait till u break a couple of exhaust studs trying to take the stock manifold off.And need less parts...

I would personally much rather have a turboed auto than a standard just the drivability of both.But if the stock auto isnt capable of big hp gains i guess ill have to settle for some smaller bolt on...
