Default honda civic rims

sup people i just passed my test not that long ago and couldnt believe it when i managed to get a honda civic as my first car, ive been driving it around for a couple months now and need to do something to it cos its all stock, ive been looking at alloys and found the perfectset but am not sure whether they will fit or not here's the specs

ive got a 1994 honda civic bali hatchback

the rims are 16x8 inches / 35mm offset / 4x100 PCD and choice of 195/45/16 or 195/40/16 tyre size

any help would be much appreciated

aren't you supposed to have a wider tire on that size rim?? i looked and it said that for that size tire it is for a 6-7.5 inch rim

those are probably too wide and will rub around corners for sure, and yea those tires are not wide enough for those rims. You're better off with 16"x6.5"s or at the widest 16"x7"s. With tires, on a civic the widest you should probably go is 205.

i mean, they'll fit, but you'll probably have rubbing issues because they're 8" wide.

I ran 8.5s on my civic and I was fine. Lowered and everything.
