Default New owner of honda civic

Been on this sight and registered but for some reason didn't have the ability to post,,,seems to have changed today...Any way I just bought a 1998 civic DX from the family of an 85 yr old lady that had just recently passed. This car had 41,000 miles on it and i doubt it had ever been above 60 mph. Paid 5500 bucks for it and had the timing belt and water pump replaced due to the age not the miles. I have a honda ridgeline but got tired of the gas costs so i parked it and got this. Gotta tell ya my first tank of gas got me 35 mpg before some work,,cleaned out the injectors and adjusted the valves and am now getting 37 as a low and 44 as a high but 39 to 40 average. that is 35 city 65 percent hwy driving. I put it around the city and do 80 plus on the freeway...makes me giggle when i got 200 miles on the odometer and only can squeeze in 5 gallons. Love the car and now that I can post will try to be more of a part of this forum....Just wanted to pop in and say howdie do....
