Yes.. It's a rim owner's worst nightmare.. Curb rash. Does anybody know how to fix it, or just prevent it. Hah.

They sell these metal wires that stick out and start scraping when you get near the sidewalk......but they look like huge training wheels for your car

- personally ive only done it once. heh, thats all it took. . .my Si's arent pristine to begin with but they're also almost 10 years old.

- you could invest in some tires that have have a protective rubber piece that sort of covers the edge of your rim. this can be found on a set of Fuzion ZRi Tires (im on my second set and love them!) Of course theres no real substitute for careful parking = \ end.

To prevent it, pay attention to what you're doing. You could also try staying on the road.

I have these tires and never noticed that until you pointed it out. I always wondered why the rubber stuck out a little bit on the rims edge.
I also recommend these tires. Great tires.

well i know my tires have these so called RIM PROTECTORS... and i can tell you they dont work that great.LOL all depends on your rims...

ya have those curb protector things but they look pretty bad! mostly just learn to keep away from the curbs!

ive only hit one curb with my old rims and its definatly the worst second/sound youll ever hear!!!
