Just bought an 08 Blk Cpe EX auto
 

Hi,
Just bought a used 08 today. It's getting a new AC condensor because the old one had been hit by a rock and had a small hole in it. They are going to touch up a couple of paint chips and a small scratch on the hood. It looks great, black exterior and interior. I'd like to add fog lights and maybe a sub. I don't know too much about them and I look forward to reading the posts to get ideas on how to add to it.

hey congrats dude. i plan to get an 8th gen civic coupe black as well...only in manual tranny. did you get that from a dealer? or private sale? how much?

sub? it already comes with a sub!

wow for an EX below 18 is a good price i guess. yeah it comes with sub. i'm not sure if only starting from 08 that the EXs came with a sub. I think 07s did not come with a sub. lucky you.

yeah teenagers love the civic coupe. it's sporty and youthful. Si is good, looks, power in expense of premium gas and lower mileage and price.

overall I'd pick the EX over the SI, in the long run you save. But one question though, how many kids do you have? isn't it hard to be going in and out of a coupe than a sedan? Good thing your wife approved you buying a coupe instead of sedan.

I've got 3 kids and getting in the back seat is a pain. But we've got a Murano for the family car and now that the kids are older, it seems I take them places 1 or 2 at a time. I've got an old Cherokee if needed, and my son has a RAV4. Maybe I should have gotten the sedan, but the coupe looks soooo much better IMHO.

yes definitely, the coupe looks way better. well you have several cars so getting a coupe won't be a big hassle to the family.

I just sold my car this evening. I'm civicless for now and looking for a black coupe :D

Good luck finding your next civic. I'm loving the interior (digital speedometer, cool steering wheel)! I do need to lean the seat back a little so my head doesn't touch the ceiling (I'm less than 5'11"). The sunroof takes away a little headroom. I guess we'll need to buy oem wipers with these cars. It's all good...

i plan to get the manual, but they placed the stick all the way to the right further away from the driver. i dont find this a problem but it kinda ruins the ergo

i think bosch and rainx makes wipers for the new civic

the 07s did have the sub, with the premium sound system, asin ex coupes.
