Default howdy all (pics)

just joined the board a few minutes ago.

always got alot of questions about civics but i don't know anyone else really who deals with them anymore or knows anything so i'm usually screwed so i figured this would be a good idea.

i got a 98 civic ex with the stock d16y8 motor, nothing to special.
got a AEM ram air intake on it and about to put a new venom intake mani on it and a pair of stainless steel headers.
i hit some railroad tracks and busted my oilpan and seized the head so i'm currently in the process of rebuilding the motor and putting the new head on it.

if anyone has any cheap and easy tips to helping it run a little bit better let me know! this is my first car so i'm still learning.
