Default Question on high flow cat

Hey guys, i recently got in a high flow cat for my 07 civic and apparently most shops wont touch it. With a high flow cat am i still going to be able to pass inspections? And do you know how to make the check engine light go off when it comes on because of the new cat?

and most places are trying to get me to pay 250 to 350 bucks to put on my skunk 2 exhaust, and i have no idea if thats good or not, if i could get some opinions that would be awesome thanks guys

Default RE: Question on high flow cat

1. why did you put on a high-flow cat?
2. why not just throw on the exhaust yourself? the car is new...the bolts should come off pretty easily.

Default RE: Question on high flow cat

Is it a real cat or just an empty pipe? The latter is not legal for road use, anywhere in the USA. There is about a $25,000 fine if a shop is caught taking off a cat and putting on an empty pipe.
