Default My Civic Ex Turned Si?

So I finally found the model number on my engine. D16Z6, which from doing a bit of research after I found out I'm running a code 21. Turns out my Civic is an Si, which I'm kinda happy about. My ex girlfriend had a a 2000 Si and that thing was fun to drive. Does anybody know about these American Si's?

Yea, we know stuff about the Si's. What do you want to know?

FYI: the 2000 Si is a huge power difference from the 92-95 Si with the D16Z6. The 2000 Si has like 160hp stock and is DOHC. The 92-95 Si has 125hp and is SOHC.

But yea, it's pretty cool having an Si. My Del Sol is an Si, and I have an Si badge coming in the mail to stick on the back because I can now.

I guess I'm kinda wondering what are some of the common problems that they have?

Uh, not really very many problems. Just normal maintenance stuff really. Except that the rear quarter panels on Civics like to get rusty; if you live where it snows it might become a problem, but otherwise there aren't any problems I can think of.

the 92-95 civic ex and si both have the d16z6. the civic ex was designed to fill the gap between the barebones civic dx and the all out, all optionscivic si. so if you have an ex they do come stock with d16z6. if i remember only the civic si came withrear disc brakes i do not belive the ex did. in my opinion one of the best advantages of the si over the ex

Pop your hood and check to make sure you have DOHC written on your valve cover.

99-00 Si's come with a B16 engine.

Does your cluster have Si written on it anywhere?

Do you have a Si grille and a front lip? Si wheels?
