jdm front bumper?
hey i was wondering if there was any way to get the front bumper on my 98 civic to look a little more JDM and by this i mean removing the plastic grill teeth type thing inside the front bumper. i know i didn't explain it that well so i'll show pictures.
if you notice, the two top have the plastic grill thing inside the bottom rectangle part of the bumper, and that white hatch at the bottom doesn't. well does but it doesnt show up as much. can anyone help me out? RE: jdm front bumper?
well that would be because they are different body styles.
Just like the 4 door and 2 door have differences, so do the 2 door and hatchbacks |
RE: jdm front bumper?
plus the white hatch has a body kit which cuts out the part you're talking about

ORIGINAL: Richard plus the white hatch has a body kit which cuts out the part you're talking about if you really want to, you can cut them out with a utility knife. |
RE: jdm front bumper?
yeah i was thinking about just cutting them out with a knife or something. that or just finding another bumper somewhere that already has that. i have put some bondo on the front bumper anyways since i hit a curb with it.

RE: jdm front bumper?
i think it looks weird with it cut out because you can see the ac lines and radiator thru the big gaping hole! i thought about doing the same thing for awhile until i saw a civic with it done. it looks sick if you're turbo'd with a huge intercooler hangin out though

RE: jdm front bumper?
hahaha i'll be true rice and cut that and then just take a cardboard box and put it behind there and draw lines on it to make it look like an intercooler!
