Default more questions involving setup

boss 5 ch amp
boston acoustic speakers all around

my amp has input level settings for speakers and sub and low, high, full pass switches for speakers. What exactly would input level do and what should I set the pass switch for the speakers?

Default RE: more questions involving setup

If the main speakers are all coaxial speakers(2,3,or 4 way-all in one speakers) run those channels full.
Sub Low pass..
Input raises the voltage on the incoming signal. DO NOT turn this all the way up........
I usually try turning the stereo up around 3/4 or so and then adjust the input level to be Loud. Does the amp have a light or something that will show it clipping? You don't want to PEAK the amp out all the time. I'm no pro by any means. But I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express once.........
