I was stopped at an intersection in Kingston on my way to my sister's place and smack, a 75 year old driving a Pontiac Torrent hit me. He gets out of his car and says 'Oh there isn't that much damage, you can buff it out'. Lucky for me there was a officer right behind him that saw it. I looked at it when I pulled overand the whole rear end is out of whack, the rear bumper is crooked, the trunk lid doesn't close right and the taillights don't line up. I am pretty pissed, I am a little worried about my insurance company though but, I have to wait and see what they say tomorrow. An the worst part, the guy didn't get charged.

So a friend of mine who restores cars is going to give me a quote Monday or Tuesday. I am probably going to have to replace bumber and have trunk, bumper and the small pieces under tailights painted. What do you all think it will cost? I am going to guess a grand.

I think I have read on here that some officers are dicks, in this scenario this is the case. The old man almost hit the officer when he was telling him where to park his car. The officer was yelling at him and the old man just wanted to leave it took everything not to laugh. I have dealt with the officer before and he isn't to friendly in any scenario.
