Ey you guys need ur help... well i have a 1994 civic 1.5 Lx. My question is can install a cold air intake system eventhough the airbox is right beside the engine?? thanks a lot

yes. the cold air intake replaces the stock airbox and tubing. Remove the entire stock intake system and you will be able to install the cold air intake.

SIMOTA OR AEM CAI SYSTEM??
 
thanks for the rep.... so i have another question, what CAI system is better simota or aem??? having difficulty choosing!!! is simota good brand?? or should i go with the much more expensive aem!?

AEM is better. Really though, any brand intake will work, just make sure you put a good filter on it like AEM, Injen, K&N

yeah ok... anyway i know an intake system wont help my sohc...right??? just want it to breath smoother... any suggestion???

what? it'll help your engine regardless of how many cams you have.
you want it to breath smoother? get an intake. But really, if your car's not breathing smooth, like what do you mean by that? not breathing smooth at idle

its just that somebody told me an intake system wont help an sohc 1.5 engine....tnx for the clarification though.... and by the way what i mean was i want my engine to breath cooler air....
