Default interior lighting

In my car I have two neon tubes under my dash, and an L.E.D. Strip in my gauges, and are all wired together. Im using the switch that goes in the cigarette lighter, but I'm wanting to know how to wire them into the fusebox under the dash.

Also, does the dome light have a bulb or a LED? I wondering if it could be changed out to a colored LED, or if anyone else has done that.

It's an incandescent bulb. You can replace it with an LED. Oznium.com sells these dome light LEDs in a bunch of different colors and you can choose different LED types and the overall size of the LED board.

ya 96-00 has no problem slaping in a led light in the dome... tho 92-95civic wants to keep the leds slightly ON... not enough current draw for them to fully turn off

as to the adding lights its very simple. first get a inline fuse holder and fuse of course, then use a spade female crimp conector and crimp it onto the fuse holder you just bought, and plug it into the fuse box directly... depending on which slot you put it in if its lite all the time or only with the ignition turned on... i cannt remember exactly.... but im pretty sure the one on the far left is powered all the the time. and run the other wire output from the fuse holder to your switch and then to your lights.
and then for the ground just find anything bare metal under the dash and find either a stop flat to use a self taping screw, or use a existing bolt/screw to ground your lights. very simple!

It worked fine in my old Civic which was a '93. It turned off all the way.

mine never did!
in my 94ex
but in my 99 it works perfect... tho i do have a few leds that have burnt out over the 2years ive had the led unit. so i do need to replace it. i just have to use something else. im gonna go with white and super bright! oznium dome light units... not sure which unit to buy yet. i have yet to measure it out to find what will fit just yet.... im think about the ultra thin one since it probably would be the best due to thickness.

this is my old 94s ex dome light below.

i have the ultra thin dome leds from oznium. i have the led's and it fits perfectly i can also have the dome light cover on. don't think that you can have the cover on with the other models. i went with the 1" x 1.5" led's

Oh, i didn't realize you were using a regular LED. I had that same problem using an LED bulb for my CEL. It stayed lit a little so I put a stock bulb back in.

But as for the dome light, I was using an Oznium dome light and it turned off all the way. Maybe the Oznium ones will work in the EGs but not a regular LED bulb like you were using.

I am using the Superflux LED Dome Light in my Del Sol, and I was using it in my old EG Civic, and the Cover fit on. You just gotta mess with it a little, but it works. It'd probably be better not use the dummy bulb on the Oznium lights and just solder the wires to the tabs. That's what I ended up doing because the dummy bulb kept coming off the tabs.
