H3ll yeah! It's the main thing that attracted me to the new SI. It's so underappreciated by the auto mags, it's an amazing car, and selling way below sticker in my area, CT. A little lacking in torque, but made up in ride comfort and handling...and the kick a5s shifter! So smooth, too. The push start is an add on, but it fits perfect in the round cut-out...
yeah that shifter location is supposed to be optimum says honda. i personally dont like it, but then again technology has yet to catch up to me<IMG src=smileys/smiley3.gif border="0">

i thik that honda should go back to the original style for the shifter, when i bought my 03 civic the salemen was trying to get me to buuy the Si i told him that i didn't want an Si for the simple fact that i didn't like where the shifter was. He also said that it was a better shift and that it also was the rally shifter
