So i need the torque specs and sequence for the main bearing on a d16y7...

I have the chilton's manual but it dont have the sequence and i think the specsare wrong...I torqued them to what it said and icant move the crank????It say's for the first step 22 ft. lbs. Step two say's 58 ft. lbs. and step three says 104 inch. lbs.
I dont knowbutisnt inch poundz less then foot poundz?
Any kinda help would be nice....
