Default Clutch Noise

Hey y'all. I drive a 97 Honda Civic Ex. 110k. Every time I depress the clutch I hear a squeaking noise. Sometimes 1st & Reverse are difficult to put into gear when at a complete standstill. I don't know what this could be - or maybe it's nothing.

I've read lots of posts about people talking about "clutch slipping". What exactly is that & how can you tell if it is slipping...

Thanks for the info!

check the clutch if its the clutch change the whole system thats means clutch, flywheel, pressure plate. to get the best results if its not that then its your transmission.
