Default Transmission Problem

Hi All,
I have 2000 civic ex. Runs really fine with no problem at all. But recently I started experiencing problem when I shift from P to R and Vice Versa. I have to put more force to it.What could be the reason? Is my transmission going bad? Should I do anything really quick before its too late?
Please help.

Thanks
Sonar Patel

Default RE: Transmission Problem

I had similar problem with my 98. Shifter worked fine then one morning shifted really stiff. The shifter cable (runs between shifter and transmission) was the culprit. Minor fix compared to tranny.
