You have to run rca and power wires to your amp from the head unit and battery. So unless it is all in the same area (not likely) you'll have to run the wires.

Ditto, What's on the back of your headunit? Places for the RCA plugs?

well,i havent bought anything yet (dont have car yet) but i was asking since i wanted to plan out the system now. I planning to get one with 2 sets of rca outputs.
