Default usdm engines?

does anyone know of a good place to buy a usdm gsr engine? anything from a shortblock to a whole swap.

ebay... it'd probably be cheaper to import a jdm gsr motor. 4199 i think it was?

i dont know if your interested but i have a b16b (civic type r) complete swap for 3300 obo. it has toda cam gears, 6 puck racing cluth, lsd hydrolic tranny, fuel regulator, ITR headers(headers are an addtional 250)and only about 40k on it. i need to sell it quick so let me know if your interested...

it will be pretty hard to find a b18c for that price..but im sure it is possible.

id RATHER have the type r engine, but california smog referee is screwing me over. i have a b16a sirII, but its not smog legal in cali, as im moving there from NV, where they dont give a damn about smogging your car.it has to be USDM. so stupid...

Actually, no it doesn't have to be usdm. I have a friend with a jdm Integra b16 XSi motor swap in her DA teg in san diego, she failed the BAR test like 4 times before finally figuring out what the problem was and fixing what she was failing.

Just do what you have to do to make it smog legal and you'll be fine.

Check out www.passwordjdm.com. I dont know if they r USJDM motors or not but you can still check it out
