turbo at low boost in high compression engine

what is the deal with turbo charging a high compression engine?

is it possible if you use low boost pressure?

is is better since you have more low end torque?

what problems can you encounter with tuning?

i have a d16y8
bored 30 over, ported and polished,11:1 compression, with je pistons and skat h beam rods,
crower camshaft stage 1,crower valve springs and retainers, cyliner brace, shaved and balanced crank, calico bearing, arp studs.

plus all fuel updgrades (i.e. walbro fuel pump, aem fuel rail, venom injectors, holley fuel pressure regulator, and aem fuel filter)

you can do it, but you would probably have to run really high octane fuel.

yeah, with under 4-5 psi, good (at LEAST 91) octane, and some good igniton timing and dyno tuning, its possible to do. tuning is pretty tricky, but a good shop could handle it, and youll have awesome low-end power, with the turbo pulling hard on the top end.
