Well I'm cruising around in my 1990 Civic hatch DX and I got the 17s on it, the integra front end, the Apexi N1 turbo muffler and my music blaring. Even though I have a stock 1.5L with nothing done other then cat back exhaust with a cold air which everyone knows even a huge turbo isnt going to help my dogged out 89hp 1.5.
Well I'm sitting at a light and even though there isnt much out there I can beat in a race when this kid pulled up next to me I was like shoot I can take him no problem. He looked over at me and nodded and I nodded back and rev'd up to about 2 grand. Throw my Skunk2 short shifter into 1st and got ready. I was like finally I'm gonna win a race!
After what seem like forever the light turns green and dump the clutch, tires chirp a little bit but pretty much hooked up and I was off, I run 1st and bang 2nd, just as I'm riding 2nd out almost ready to hit 3rd all I can see was that kid hit high gear on me and blowing me out of the water. aww babe that sux. i've only been beaten once...that was the last time i raced... i have a stupid question... how much hp does a stock EX have? just wondering.
