Default steering wheel feels too easy to turn?

Hey,

I'm about to buy a civic ex coupe from 2000. My previous car responded really well to slight movements of the steering wheel - it was a mitsubishi galant. However, to turn around a corner with this civic, I had to turn the steering wheel on this civic almost completely around. It also turns real easily, its loose, maybe thats the right word. Is this normal on the civic? Or is some belt not wound tight enough?

Im about to buy this car, its a 2000 civic ex coupe with 83k on it, no abs. KBB lists for 7500, and im buying it for 5900 , some scratches but otherwise seems fine. Some say noooo, bad deal, but others say, very good. Its the best deal ive found under 6 grand. what do you civic owners think? id appreciate any help whatsoever on either question!

Has it ever been in a crash?

doesnt the alignment have to do with the wheels leaning one way or another? I was thinking that maybe the steering wheel had problems

if you had to much negative caster,... then it would be easyer to steer. but also would not go back to straight easily.

it may just be the power steering makes it feel different than your old car. maybe drive a few other civics with power steering, and compare to them. sounds like a decent deal to me.
