Default whatamilooking for???

ok want to sell my truck and get a civic. ive decided on a 92 to 95 hatchback. what am i looking for a dx, vx, cx??? whats the difference??? if it has an engine swap which are the good engines to swap? a lot say vtec swap but i dont know what engine is the best engine to swap. i know you guys have answered this a million time but when it comes to imports im lost. im used to swaping a 4.3l for a 350. i dont know what im looking at when it says swapped for vtec so i dont know if that the good engine or not.

if you get the SI you dont even neeed to swap it..it comes with a great engine to start off with.

EDIT: but as someone said earlier (was it remmy? not sure...) the SI logo will get the attention of the insurance company. if you get a DX and swap in a B16 you will basically have an SI without the jacked up insurance costs

But I think it may be worth it for the rear brakes and stuff the Si comes with. My insurance is way less with the 94 then with my 00 Si. Plus if it does get jacked youll get more money from an Si.

thats true. id still rather pay less and get the DX with a B16 swap. the car istelf is cheaper so you dotn need as much money..but i dont know if your insurance would cover the engine.
