Anybody else watching the news?

I'm over here on the east coast watching continuous news coverage of a socal freeway standoff. Apparently the guy tried to kidnap some lady and then drove like 100 miles before they stopped him. Now they've got 3 swat cars surrounding him and all he's got is 2 guns. So basically, he's screwed.

President Bush's words of mighty intelligence and grace have priority over that I guess. They blow him away yet?

I'd love him if he resigned. In fact, I'd even take him out to Black Angus to show how greatful I am.

because bush is a joke.

clinton was 10 times the president bush is, even though people knock him for the whole monica thing... that had nothing to do with his quality of being a president.

k look i dont support bush...but if it wasnt for clintons stupid monica effing ass then bush wouldnt have been in all the hard spots he is in. for instance, if clinton held on to bin laden...9/11 wouldnt have happened, and bush wouldnt have had to make the choice to go to war. then gas prices wouldnt be so damn high. but bush still didnt have a right to be in iraq or drilling in alaska :)

I'd rather have Bush then paul Marten anyday of the week. Bush does alot of dumb things but for the most part i agree with the things he has done. people just like to be critical. The media only shows the bad things that have happend in Iraq too so no one thinks he should have done what he has done. I don't think the way he handle iraq was the best way but if he could do it again i am sure he would try and think of a diffrent way. I think there is good things coming out of all this crap in iraq the simple fact that they had higher voter turn out percent then canada or the States have on a election says alot. they were told they would be killed if they voted too. If he pulled the troops out now every person that has did would have died for nothing. Being able to have a free Iraq is worth lot of lives if u ask me. It would be geat if that could be done without fighting but things don't work that way and people that think that bush could simply stop the fighting are FRECKEN STUPID. (not saying that u mad7 u could have diffrent reason for not liking him.) I know there are the issue with he just wanted the oil but so what if he did can't he want oil and a free iraq? Well thats my 2 cents... just be glad Paul Marten is no leading the US. U would be trading a person does what he thinks needs to be done for someone that acts like a blode hippie chick.

Regarding what's happening in Iraq...go to your local bookstore and pick up a book called "Confessions of an Economic Hitman."

9/11 wouldn't have happened if everyone would have taken Bin Ladens request to pull out the Middle East entirely seriously. It's our presence in that region of the world that directly creates the base of Bin Laden's rhetoric and recruitment. As for our president's choice, it was more like orders from his oil crones. It's like the Emperor telling Vader to capture Luke. Gas prices on the global level are relatively mid-range. Iraq has 5 cents per gallon. Weird, we invaded that country and "liberated" it, but why aren't we getting that kind of love. Gotta love these Civics!
