Ball Bearing Turbos

I got caught up in a conversation about ball bearing turbos with one of my friends. He was saying that B.B. turbos were the best turbo u could get. I told him that how could ball bearing turn at 100K+ RPM without melting? Whose idea is correct? ( i think he got the ball bearing turbo idea from F&F)

RE: Ball Bearing Turbos

no, it is a better idea. some of them have ceramic bearings to withstand the heat. but the BB turbos spool way faster than standard ones.
