That's pretty nice for a first car, jhs. My first was an '89 Ford Ranger with 168k mi on it. Little V6, I think it was a 2.8, not sure though. RWD, no weight in the back. That thing was glorious. But it got crappy gas mileage and I wanted a car, so I sold it for 650 after buying it a year before for 680. After that I went to an '89 Chrysler LeBaron. Had a million problems with it, and then the engine blew up. Head gasket went, steering rack went, it was ugly. Gave it away to a junkyard. Then I got a '99 Cavalier. Hated that thing, but it was a manual, so I decided to beat on it. This resulted in 25k mi without an oil change, 2 sets of tires, new clutch, new brakes and some random engine bits. Now I've got the 2005 Civ and I love it.

I had the 87 with the first year of the 2.9, and that thing was crap. the truck was great, but the hydraulic lifter went at 100k, and it needed a new motor. screw that. fun truck though.
