Default 93 civic cx

I want to make my car uhh lets say a little fast? just so it can compete with lets say those infiniti g35's or somthing. I dont want to race it i just like to have lots of exceleration but as much mpg as possible. Would it be better to go witha new engine or a turbo? and can you name a model w/ price of 1. thanx

I am all over G35s with my GSR motor, i dont beat them senseless or anything, but its a drivers race. and I average 26-28 mpg, mostly city. hope that helps.
