We got the carbon fiber hood on Monday and we intalled it on monday.
Its at the shop for a good reason
i will take updated pics when it gets out of the shop
polo708 08-26-2004, 05:24 AM looks good, coming along nicely.
2000Si 08-26-2004, 12:18 PM Man it seems most everyone on this board has a 99-00 Si. Looks nice. :D
Does he have a camber kit on it? What type of suspension on there?
hector4444 08-26-2004, 02:28 PM Skunk2 coilovers and thats it
no camber kit
ohbiskits 08-26-2004, 03:23 PM does he scrape a lot? thats pretty low...i was woundering if u guys scrape on speed bumps because my cat scrapes at skool everyday unless i stop on them and even then u hear it scrape...ive seen some LOW civics and i was woundering if u guys just take it slow and when it scrapes not worry about it..
White_Devil 08-26-2004, 04:02 PM Im dropped about as low as he is. And I personly just take it slow and at an angle on speed bumps. But I know if i put a body kit Ill have no room at all
hector4444 08-26-2004, 04:05 PM like what white_devil said
take it slow and angled and it wont scrape, unless its a big ass speed bump

hopefully its at the shop to get painted. we dont need anymore unpainted cf hoods runnin around
hector4444 08-26-2004, 04:24 PM actualy its not to get anything painted
its at the shop because there working on something under the hood
sacicons 08-27-2004, 12:48 AM whats wrong with unpainted CF?
polo708 08-27-2004, 02:38 AM I love CF hoods! I'd stick with that.
i wouldn't paint a cf hood either. I was about to get the hood and trunk and they were not gonna be painted.
sacicons 08-27-2004, 04:16 PM id paint it for a sleeper, or just a candy pearl over it, so you can still see the weave. i also like it when people paint along the angles of the hood, leaving the center black.

i've seen a few Audi's like that.
green98lxsedan 08-27-2004, 05:16 PM well i think the main reason i have for the unpainted hood is cause all the losers around here have their factory hoods painted black so everyone thinks they have cf hoods. and it just bugs the hell outta me
the idea of leavin the center cf sounds cool. i wanna see some pics of somethin like that if anyone has one

plus paint=more weight. when i do a CF hood for the Si, it's staying unpainted.
