i have found a 00" EX 1.6 V-TEC 79000 miles for $5500

let explain you the situation...

its been a stolen car with no truck no bumper no side skirt no front hood no fenders no front bumper and the inside is trashed... it is a salvage title but he wanted to sell it to me for $3500 juste like that (this was saturday).
today i went back he told me i'll do it brand new for you check everything ,rebuilt everything and you buy the car $5900 (taxes included).

what you think???
please give me advise.....:eek:

i agree. you could find a complete civic in good condition for that price. Plus the cost to replace the missing pieces could be substancial.

yo know what, i didn't notice he was rebuilding it for $5500. I still wouldn't do it. seems like a lot for a salvaged civic.

I agree. If i were you i would just keep lookin. Since its a salvage rebuilt car it might fall apart in the future since it doesn't have 100% orginal factory quality and installation.

So my advice dont buy it keep looking....

I agree. Go with a civic that has a clean history.

Also LEVIII said that 99-00 civics like to be stolen. Anyone know if there is any particular reason for those specific years. I own a 2000, but its garaged in suburbia so Im not too worried, just curiuos
