i was coming up the bypass near my house and this guy in a subaru wrx was right on my ass i swear an inch off my bumper, i was gonna do a brake check, but he wouldve hit me, and i dont need higher insurance. Then when the road went back into 2 lanes he crossed over the whiteline and passed me at about 80mph. I wasnt even racing, i was on my way home from the car wash... then he almost wrecked into a dump truck further up the road... ppl are idiot drivers.

I try to staty away from them but i still do a brake check to make sure they are awake and then I use another vehicle to block there a$$ in and if they are late for what every they are trying to get to they can thank me, or they take the shoudler and pass illeagel. So I can keep my a$$ clean. I aint affriad of getting rear ended they are going topay for the repairs or my new car if the civic gets totaled.

Word!!! I get people like that all the time on my way home from work and I am like you gonna get home late or where ever you are going...

My friend did that till whenever he pulled over to get the insurance information from the guy, the dude said you did that on purpose you stupid motherf*******, and proceeded to beat the holy hell out of him. When someone is doing stupid crap like that, I just speed up, move over and let them floor it away down their path to a tragic end at the hands of their own stupidity.

that kind of **** happens to me all the time. I always break check them lol...I wouldn't do it if they were only like an inch from me tho. I just let them pass me and give them the finger.

I slow down when they tailgate me just lift off and coast.

Here in New York, people drive crazy just to stop at the next light which is like 50 feet in front of them. I just let them drive by and wait for the SCREEEECHING and then the accident to occur.

They would have gotten the higher insurance rates because they would have been at fault. Getting hit from the rear is always the person in backs fault. Probably a good idea that you didn't though because this person seems unstable from your description.

i would have sped up so he couldnt pass, then slow down to 15-20MPH, keep a close look, when he makes his move, hammer it again, when he gets back behind ya........back down to 20.........repeat. Wont work with a WRX.......well not yet!

yeah, its not too common, but it happens.

You recall the circumstances at all? I'm not challenging you or anything, I've just seriously never heard of that happening before.

can't say that i have either

like when somone pulls RIGHT out in front of you and hits the brakes before you have a chance to slow down and put a safe distance between the two of you. or switches lanes trying to get to the lane on the other side of you, and you hit them because they are moving slower than you. basically, they cut you off.

i personally like slowing down the more the ride my bumper. if they want to get closer, thinking i'll go faster, i just go 5 mph slower, everytime they get closer to my car. i figure someone in a hurry needs to learn to plan their trip more effectively so they aren't always late to where they are going. :D

usually the only way you'll get busted for getting rear ended is A) if your taillights are out or B) if you actually back into them.

I slow down, wait for them to try and pass, then proceed to speed up the second I am about to be passed, man i'm a people person.
