Default Hey gotta question from a friend Please help

Hey my friend just bought a 88 honda civic hb dx, he was wondering what all should he replace. He wants to replace everything he can now so there is no problems later. No engine swaps ect. He alread did flywheel, clutch, starter, battery, front rotors and pads. He's going to replace the drums and shoes too. Can you guys make a list of what other parts to replace? Thanks

spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter, water pump, timing belt, and the tensioner and idler pulleys. start there. if hes willing to spend the money for it, replace the whole distributor, thats usually what breaks on a honda.
