Default Mustang down

I am so proudof myself today that I beat Mustang tonight at the track. I ran a 17.2 also from a 17.5. I still cant hit 16's yet. Due to Texas weather. It was 73 Degrees at 11:55 PM with 88% Hum.

well IMO if its a 6........its not a real stang. A mid 30s guy lives up the street from me and he has an early 90s 5.0 stang. Its blown, sprayed and built(Hes even got a FN parachutte on the back to ease the brakes.)......the thing ran a low 9 on slicks at the englishtown raceway. THATS a mustang.

Well the stang i was racing was a 3.8. The only way i won was treeing his a$$ and hitting all my shift points. Then I was put up against a couple of 5.0 stangs lets just say i was eating a lot of dust from them. That and if you go to my car domain website and see what has been installed on my car.

the truth is that the take rate for the 6 cylinder mustangs are VERY high...ive seen lots of new stangs, several in my neighborhood, and ive only seen one, maybe two GTs out of the 10 or so 05+ stangs...the problem is that the douchebags that are buying these new stangs arent your typical mustang douchebags..this is a new breed of douchebag...these are the nerdy middle aged men and women who remember that when they were young in the 70s, the mustang was what all the cool kids drove...now that theyre 45 and married, the new stang looks like the old one, and is affordable...so instead of the stang market being mostly limited to morons who only know enough about cars to pick through a jegs catalog to pick out parts and a phone book to find someone to install things, this new breed doesnt even know what jegs is...

if a v6 Stang isnt a Stang, then is a sohc civic a civic? i say it was a good matchup. leave the v8s to the dohcs, we'll take care of them.

Good call, Sac. Let the V8's pick on somebody their own size (B's). Us D series soldiers will handle up on the V6 pukes.

I don't think they should even produce the Mustang in the V6.

v6 stangs are slow as balls. It should be a big embarrasment to them that a little 4 cyl honda is faster, has a 10x better reliability, and a far superios gas mileage.

No offense dude, but it almost seems that all of those "mods" have degraded the performance of your car. vovka86 has a stock '97 DX that pulled 17.5 all day long

You're looking at a 2007 Mustang owner right here... when that GT500 hits the floor you can bet your sweet ass I'll be on the bandwagon. Talk all the **** you want but that thing will be a beast!

5.4L supercharged... yeah, I'll be murdering that new Skyline left and right
