If a company claims that its product can provide a service and it doesn't, isn't that "false advertisement"? Shouldn't the company be shut down by the Better Business Bureau?

When I first visited the site, I saw a link that was about the turbonator. Logicially I thought that if a forum dedicated to Honda Civics has a link for a product that produces more hp and mileage, it must be legit. I searched for threads and found out it was a waste.

We really should get the ad off the site if none of its claims are true.

It's a Google generated ad and I don't know if the "powers that be" have the ability to turn it off...

Please.... tell us how you REALLY feel about the Turbonator.

when i was fourteen or fifteen...around when my parents got me my first car...i was kind of short on cash (i wasnt old enough to get a job) and i didnt have much in my savings account. i wanted to put more power to my drivetrain, but i simply couldnt afford anything, even an aftermarket intake seemed out of my league. then i found it...what i knew was the answer. the turbonator. i saw that they added 35 horsepower...and i knew i needed one. they were right in my budget too. i loved it. the extra power was grand. i drove all day and all night, only stopping for gas refilles...it ended up costing almost three times the turbonators price originally...but i didnt care. i just wanted to drive it. then i found out that the turbonator didnt really work...it didnt really add any horsepower. i was devestated...and i went to take it off immediately to sell it on ebay. but upon opening the hood...i found i couldnt do it...i just...couldnt...i needed to hide it and keep it on my car at the same time. but how? i decided to duct tape it close...i knew that would keep anyone out that i wanted too. but i still knew that it didnt do anything. im still devestated, but im recovering. i think sometimes...i still crave putting it back on...just to feel as free as i did the first few nights...maybe one day i'll be able to sell it and get rid of it forever......

BTW this isnt a true story ;)

My neighbor told me that his uncle's mailman's wife's cousin's daughter's brother had a friend that went to school with a guy that put a turbonator on his car and it added about 7.359 HP (this was estimated from the gas mileage multiplied by the tire size and then divided by the number of people in the car at the time of the fillup, then multiplied by the number of cylinders plus he added 7.359 to the equation just to keep it from fair).
Next thing you know, the entire neiborhood was buying these turbonators and enjoying the benefits of the increased HP gains.

My buddy from Mars has a Civic and the only mod he has done, is put 8 Turbonators (one after another) in his intake tube, and now he has a Civic with 450 WHP.

Disclaimer: This is not a true story, just in case you believe it.
